ABOUT
US 
The Birmingham Area Youth Soccer League (BAYSL)
is a community based non-profit recreational youth soccer league.
This club is a partner club for the Birmingham-Troy United Football
Club (BT-UFC). The club is also open to all players in the
Birmingham area. It was originally formed to provide a soccer
opportunity for the siblings of current BT-UFC players.
The BAYSL is sanctioned and fully insured by
US Club Soccer. US Club Soccer is a nationally recognized youth
soccer organization. US Club Soccer is affiliated with United
States Soccer Federation (USSF), the parent organization for most
soccer leagues in the U.S.
This league is tailored to the player that
enjoys the game of soccer, but also has other interests and
commitments.
The BAYSL is administered by John and Sarah
Jackson. Both have over 30 years experience working with youth
soccer players. John has coached players from Under 8 through Under
18. He has coached at the recreational level and premier level.
John is a grade 8 referee, referee instructor and licensed referee
assignor and a nationally licensed coach. He has worked in all
areas of league administration including president, treasurer, Dir.
Of Fields, age group commissioner to list a few.
Sarah has been involved in youth soccer league
administration for over 30 years. She has coached players from
Under 8 through Under 18 at the recreational level and premier
level. Sarah is a “D” licensed coach. As well as an experienced
registrar, treasurer, age group commissioner and many other areas of
youth soccer club administration.
Two other directors of the league are Andy
Chapman and Ian Fairbrother. They assist with player clinics and
coach development. They are currently directors of coaching for the
Birmingham-Troy United Football Club. Please visit their website
